Donna Busken (Owner/Aesthetician)
Donna Busken is the cofounder of DB Face + Wax alongside her husband Dr. Christopher Busken. She has been a licensed aesthetician since March 2019 and completed additional training in aesthetics from Avante Laser Medspa in the Woodlands, Texas in 2020. When she is not at DB Face + Wax, she can be found spending time with her husband and two dogs Alexander Hamilton and James “Jimmy” Madison.
Christopher J. Busken, MD (Co-Founder )
Christopher J. Busken, M.D., is DB Face + Wax’s founder and Medical Director. He received his undergraduate degree from Southeast Missouri State University and completed medical school at the University of Missouri. Dr. Busken completed his surgical residency at Memorial Health University Medical Center in Savannah, Georgia. He completed his vascular surgery fellowship at the world renowned Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He is a widely published author and speaker. In his spare time Dr. Busken can be found at Gebby’s BBQ and Catering in Austin and San Antonio.
April Gonzales (Aesthetician)
April is one of our aestheticians dedicated to helping you with your skin care needs. She graduated with her Texas Cosmetologist license in Esthetics in 2018. She is from Austin, Texas and moved to San Antonio a few years ago. In her spare time she enjoys visiting her favorite vineyards and traveling with her fiancé.
Katelynn Molinar (Receptionist)
Katelynn is one of our receptionist at DB Face + Wax. She has more than 5 years experience in the service industry and is excited about her new journey here with us. She is a full time student at Texas A&M University- San Antonio majoring in Psychology. When she isn’t studying or working, she enjoys spending time with her fur babies, traveling and exploring new cities with her fiancé or having a glass of rose at the newest restaurants.
